Rivals Meet Again

Star Ledger Article

Seton Hall Prep (10-5-4), which has averaged 0.66 goals in three games against Infante this season, dominated play in the second, but the first-year Delbarton keeper remained unflappable. Junior forwards Ryan Reuther and Nick Passantino and senior Mike Tahan of Seton Hall all saw great chances turned away by Infante in the second, when Seton Hall held a 16-7 shot advantage.
This was the most competitive game weve played against Delbarton in three meetings this season, Seton Hall coach Peter Herms said. But their goalie played outstanding. Someones going to have to catch them on a bad night in order to do some damage because they have the best team in the state right now.

According to Reuther, a few adjustments at intermission made the difference in keeping the game close. We were able to stop their breakout and didnt allow them much freedom up the middle, Reuther said. We limited them offensively and were able to generate a lot more in their end.
