4th of July
Watched a lot of the John Adams Series on HBO today - a fitting day for that. Late in his life a letter from Jefferson to Adams mentions "time and silence" as the only true medicines. The house pictured is John Adams' birthplace in Quincy.

It's kind of funny, how simple and basic this man's house is and how formidable his impact was on our country.
Maybe there's something to be said about humble origins.
