by Jennifer Golson/Star-LedgerSaturday February 14, 2009, 7:01 PM
An earthquake with a magnitude of 2.2 rocked several towns in Morris County shortly before 5:30 p.m. today, authorities said.
The second quake to hit Morris County in two weeks, this one had its epicenter about 6 miles north of Boonton, and was felt in neighboring Montville, said Scott DiGiralomo, a coordinator for the county's office of emergency management. On Feb. 2, a 3.0 magnitude earthquake hit several towns in the Morristown area.
This one was fainter. Patty will like the word "fainter" she used it in scrabble last week.
1 Comments:
Actually, the word was "fainters". And I was the ONLY one who liked the word.
