Word of the Day Periodontist

this morning i had to visit a periodontist
and that was an excrutiatingly
exciting experience involving
sharp instruments and stitches.
thank GOD and little fishes
that this will be my only visit
to dr duggal (pronounced doogle).
i left her office with an ice pack
and a handful of perscriptions and
i'm now in my office dribbling diet
coke down my chin because my numb lips
are not conforming to the shape of the bottle.
