The Beach

Back home again and missing the sounds, the breezes, the stunning clouds and the endless entertainment provided by 2 boys and 1 tennis ball...at one point the game of catch involved bouncing it off the other person's head - catching it...then throwing it back fast...trickier than it sounds.

In addition to Rick and Betty's visit this weekend...Dan is having his opening in SoHo on Saturday...should be a fun day. Dave Chappelle bought one of Dan's recent works.

Website Draft

Finished the first draft layout for the collective website...created in appleworks, printed out and yes...scotch taped together...umm..one step better than drawing it on a cocktail napkin.

Storm Clouds

Storm clouds, rain and thunder, maybe it will cool things off a little bit... A few hours later and trees have fallen, power off for awhile and now (poof) just restored. Nice to have the power off awhile ( flickering candles and a silent twilight ) and nice to have it back on again.

The Chapel

The Window in the Chapel on Miller Road. This little window has presided over weddings and baptisms and countless sunday mornings when two polish priests said the mass in latin and then gave a sermon in polish. Needless to say, the catholic mass remained shrouded in mystery for me for many years.

The Old House on Miller Road

Drove through Fayson Lakes and Kinnelon yesterday with mom and chris in his convertible. We went so slowly it was like riding a bike...the scents, the sound of the trees swaying, the sun on our faces. Here is a picture of the house we grew up in on Miller Road. The woods surrounding the house looked as beautiful as ever.
