Of Course

Of course the backdrop for about 30 hours of waiting in doctor's offices, emergency rooms and the line at Walgreen's - was Owen's best lacrosse game ever - 4 goals with "team snipe" I missed the game but the local paper videoed it

Working on Well

things are getting a little better - interestingly, the doctors have decided the lacrosse injury was a "red herring" distracting them from the real problem - an infection that had been brewing before the contusion in exactly the same place...i think ryan needs to see a "generalist" because all of the specialists are pointing at each other.

Pain

Ryan had an injury this weekend playing lacrosse and since then we've spent time visiting the local emergency room, the pediatrician's office, the dentist's office, the oral surgeon's office, the ear, nose and throat specialist's office  (who suggested Ryan return to the emergency room tonight ) and tomorrow... back to the oral surgeon. keep your fingers crossed for us. i am sure he will be perfectly fine by midday tomorrow... but i will need a week of sleep when this little ordeal ends.  there's nothing tougher than watching someone you love, suffer.

Attended Easter mass at Sacred Heart and although I expected to enjoy the beautiful architecture and cherry blossoms at Branch Brook Park afterward - the service itself, exceeded every expectation.
